Bitter-sweet feeling

58 year old South African Businessman, Brian Calitz, killed a would-be hijacker as the deceased was trying to still his car from him at the entrance of his house in Pietermaritzburg, KZN. Brian explained that he saw them from the side of his eyes as the men were approaching him and told them that there was no Job for them, that's when they grabbed his arm and asked for his car. He said that he feels sad for the fact that he had to take someone's life but he had to act according to his instincts or the worst could have happened to him.  "If you own a fire arm, you must be trained to use, and if you are confronted in such situation, you must not hesitate. It is in that moment of pause that you can lose it all." said Brian.

This should serve as an example to every criminal out there. People won't always tolerate you and your tricks, as they will take matters into their hands and, as seen in this case, things can turn out real bad for you criminals too. I really don't know whether I should feel sorry for the criminal and his family, or feel proud of what Mr Calitz did but one thing for certain is that this might cause a even bigger revolution on the part of many people as no innocents and hard-working people will not accept such behaviour from criminals and they will end up trying to defend themselves more so when they have the means to and are well trained to react to such.

With that said... good job Brian; condolences go out to the family of this young man.
