Blackberry's most valuable asset, BBM, has spawned some light on the company's gross profit this year, due to its popularity. Following the announcement that Blackberry was considering joint partnerships, the company has been able close a deal that would see BBM being part of android and iOS products, and that i would be released this year.
The release of BBM had to be put on hold after an unreleased version of it, for both android and iOS platforms, surfaced online and caused a massive traffic of data which caused the system to work inappropriately.
Meanwhile the company is trying to have this version blocked completely, and prevent this issue from happening again, only then, will they announce the official release date again and eventually have it available to the public.
This is obviously something that all android and iOS users have been waiting for, because most of these users are people who have used a blackberry before and were pretty much accustomed to using BBM, as it is extremely user-friendly and enjoyable.
